உலகக்கோப்பை நாளை தொடங்கவிருக்கும் நிலையில், நடக்கவிருக்கும் போட்டிகள், வெற்றி பெற்றவர்களின் விவரங்கள், பெற்றுள்ள புள்ளிகள் போன்ற விவரங்களை நீங்கள் உடனுக்குடன் தெரிந்து கொள்ள ஒரு எக்ஸெல் ஃபைல். ஒவ்வொரு க்ரூப்பிலும் எந்த அணி முன்னிலையில் உள்ளது, எவ்வளவு புள்ளிகள் போன்றவற்றை எந்த வலைத்தலத்திற்கும் போகாமல் உங்கள் கணினியிலேயே தெரிந்து கொள்ளலாம். செய்ய வேண்டியதெல்லாம் ஒவ்வொரு போட்டி முடிந்த பிறகும், அந்த போட்டி உள்ள வரியில்(Row), வெற்றி பெற்ற அணிக்கு ஒரு + அல்லது 1 உள்ளிட வேண்டியது தான்.
இதில் முதல் சுற்றில் ஒவ்வொரு போட்டியிலும் வெற்றி பெற்ற அணியின் கட்டத்தில் '+' அல்லது '1' உள்ளிட்டால் தானாகவே புள்ளிகள், மற்றும் சூப்பர் 8க்கு தகுதி பெறும் அணிகள் ஆகியவை நிரப்பப்படும். ஒரு க்ரூப்பின் அனைத்து போட்டிகளின் முடிவுகளையும் உள்ளிட்ட பிறகு தகுதி பெறும் இருஅணிகளின் பெயரும் சூப்பர் 8ல் தெரிவதை பார்க்கலாம்.
இதேபோல் சூப்பர் 8 போட்டிகளின் பொழுது ஒவ்வொரு போட்டியிலும் வெற்றி பெறும் அணியை உள்ளிட்டால், முதல் நான்கு இடம்பெறும் அணிகளை காணலாம்.

cant this be tracked through google spreadsheet by one of the cricket lovers out there (docs.google.com)? BTW, my craziness towards cricket has subsided having lived outside India for more than a decade now and hence my sources of just-in-time information are extremely limited; otherwise I would love to do it myself.

We can't upload to Google Spreadsheet. I've already tried that. :) Since it's using Macro (Microsoft specified program), Google is not supporting this :))
